💡 Think:
It’s time to come together.
This week Torah portion begins “You are all standing this day before the Lord, your God the leaders of your tribes, your elders and your officers, every man of Israel, your young children, your women, and your convert who is within your camp both your woodcutters and your water drawers..”
It’s always read before Rosh Hashanah… and for good reason. If we want to be blessed for a sweet new year, we need to come together. Every Jew is a glorious part of the tapestry, a key component to the living body of the Jewish people. We must embrace each and everyone not just despite our differences, but because of them - for each one of us brings something, beautiful, profound, glorious and critical to the whole.
And this year, we’re going BIG on coming together. As we stand together at the precipice of a new Jewish year. This new year, 5783, isn’t an ordinary one. It’s a Hakhel year. A year dedicated to Jewish gatherings.
Gathering is something we’re going to be doing a lot of at Tech Tribe. From our amazing collection of monthly TwelveX Talks, in person events at Google, Snap and other tech companies… and a plethora of gatherings big and small at our beautiful new Tech Tribe HQ space - we’re reading to Unite The Nation.
So come together, right now.
