💡 Think:
The home is where we find shelter, where we can reveal ourselves and truly be comfortable in our skin.
The outside, the streets and the world at large, represent avenues of dissonance and disconnection.
On the streets where darkness can become overwhelming.
The Mezuzah sits at the precipice between these two worlds. It shows that the house is permeated with the sublime unity of G-d - but that it does so in a way that spills out into the street.
Our job is to be a light in the darkness, and the mezuzah is the beacon that helps make it happen.
