💡 Think:
Today is the “Second Passover.” A day when, one month after the Passover offering in the desert, a group of Jews approached Moses and asked for a second chance to bring the Passover offering.
Its lesson is timeless: No matter who you are, where you are or what you were doing - We can always reconnect.
Within us is the power to bridge the divide - of time, of space, and find that unity we seek.

S. An-sky—ethnographer, war correspondent, author of the best-known Yiddish play, The Dybbuk, traveled through White Russia and Ukraine, recording folk songs - among them many chasidic tunes.
When I heard this particular tune, digitized from a wax cylander, it sent chills down my spine. Here was a song, one I particularly enjoy, calling out to me from the mouth R’ Shmuel Galperin, a Lubavitcher living in Babanovitch - half a world a way and across the span of over a century.
