💡 Think:
There are two general approaches in healing an physical illness:
1. To heal the particular organ or faculty that is damaged, sick or weak;
2. To strengthen the healthy organs and faculties so that they may overcome and heal the sick organ or faculty.
The parallel can be found with spiritual malaise:
1. Teshuva. to return and delve within, fixing the damage,
2. and good deeds, to strengthen the soul so that it does not become sick.
