Tech Tribe Dispatch #12:

Think: This week's Torah portion delineates the building of the tabernacle in the desert - in all of its minutiae. Seemingly, after the giving of the Torah and its ethical precepts read the other week, the grand epoch making revelation of G-d on Mt. Sinai, why does the Torah seems so focused on the building of the tabernacle?
The answer lies in what the Torah says next: "And they shall make Me a holy place and I will dwell in their midst" - in their midst, and not in it - for G-d wishes to dwell in the hearts of each and every one of us.
It is upon us to make that sacred space in our hearts, refine and sanctify ourselves - through our thoughts, our speech and actions - and there is where G-d is found.
As Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Kotzk said, "Where is G-d? Wherever you let Him in."
